We just got back from Thailand a couple of days ago. It was so relaxing and felt really long. Everything was
cheap- our hotel was really nice and only cost $40/night. The food was great and the scenery was beautiful! We did an island hopper tour one day and went snorkeling in crystal clear water and swam at Maya Bay, which is where the movie The Beach was filmed.
We also visited Phi Phi Island where they were hit by the Tsunami pretty badly. You can see the pictures where they are still rebuilding. We talked to a local there and he said that he was there for it and just made a run for the mountains. This island is so small though, it was pretty scary imagining what it must have been like. There are no roads or vehicles on the island because it is so small, so the people that ran to the mountains literally
ran to the mountains. Thailand was beautiful but you can see that the people are very poor. One of our tour guides told us to tell our friends to come visit Thailand- so many people have donated a lot of money to help rebuild since the Tsunami and they want the people to be able to see what they have done by contributing.
Anyhoo, enjoy sifting through all 400 pictures

We actually made an effort to take pictures of this trip.
P.S. For those of you who care, Mark has posted more pictures from his nerd fest in L.A.
And there are pictures from a DMZ trip I took with my friend Kimberly.
